Half a Decade!

We celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary last week and had a blast. We drove to the coast, (it was pointed out to us many times that it's not the beach, it's "the coast") to Newport and went downtown and played on the beach for a while. There is a famous place here in most of the cute small coast towns called MO's and it's pretty delicious. We waited in quite a good line to eat some great seafood. We decided because it was a special day we would do something we wouldn't normally do, so we went into Ripley's Believe it or Not! and believe it or not, it was kinda lame for the price we paid. But, we were livin' on the edge so whatever. We got to see a weird, creepy mermaid ("it's merman...cough, cough...merMAN!") and watch people through a two-sided mirror make faces so it wasn't a total loss. I was really excited about the beach because it looked like a REAL beach! The waves were big, the sand was clear of rocks, and there was a lighthouse so it was pretty rockin'. Too bad it was pretty cold. Good day...good day...
